On May 22, Koyomimonogatari, the newest novel in the popular Monogatari series, went on sale. Also, the second season of the Monogatari anime series will begin broadcasting this July. Because of this, Nisio Isin's Monogatari series is collecting huge interest. Now, one more item for the series is picking up added attention from fans. On May 23, it was announced that a "Bakemonogatari Premium Item Box" will be released from Kodansha on Nov. 21. This curious box is filled with a superior selection of items related to Bakemonogatari. The first item that will catch fans' eyes is the figure "Nendoroid Hitagi Senjogahara" produced by Good Smile Company. Senjogahara has high popularity for being the main heroine in the Monogatariseries. This figure features her lovely form in the chibi style characteristic of Nendoroid figures. Also included in this set are three clear posters drawn by Vofan, the illustrator of the original work, Akio Watanabe, character designer on the anime series, and manga artist Hajime Ueda. These too seem like they will be popular with fans. Furthermore, one more item to take notice of is the short work "Hitagi Figure" drawn for the occasion by Isin. We can't touch on the details of this, but judging from the title, it will most likely be related to the figure included in the set. A premium item box being sold by a publisher is all but unheard of, but it's possible to say that it will include ideas from the publisher. The price of this set is 5,985 yen (tax included). Pre-orders are now being accepted until July 1. It's also worth noting that this set is only being sold to those who pre-order it. For those who definitely want it, it's important to act soon.
